Movie Theme Month

It's summer and there's nothing to watch so my partner and I are returning to movie theme month. Started this a year ago and it's so fun and saves on the mental load of finding something "good" to watch.

Pick a theme, any theme (ex. female directors, 1995, a specific actor, road-trip...). Everyone make's a list of anything and everything you think fits the genre and go back and forth choosing the movie. We end up seeing so many things we wouldn't have viewed otherwise. You get lots of surprises, some good, some BAD, but always so fun to discuss and connect the dots. Record the ones you did actually watch or make a list on Letterboxd. New month, new theme.
